I’m  sure this was probably a topic in the past but I think we should have a place to share our “angel buns”. Those buns who brought us so much joy before leaving for the Rainbow Bridge. Let’s not make it sad, let’s just remember and share our beloved bunnies.

These two were my little angels even before they had wings.

        Velvet aka “The Do-Bop”

        Vanilla Bean aka “Beaner”

HE was the most gentlist of little furbeings he would nibble very daintily on my clothes when he did nibble on them. he would sit and take the attention I would give him. he found a spot on a couch cushon while I lay on couch and petted him. He was a little gentleman so gentle and sweet. HE liked to give kisses sometimes too. he loved to pose for pictures. OH he was such a doll. he would secretly do binkies in the bedroom I caught him twice. and when I did he stopped.

b4 his neuter he humped a towel I gave him to dig smooth and chew. when I saw him he stopped like he was all embarrassed to be seen doing this. aahaaa. HE was real shy all the time he was shy. when I would take  him outside somewhere he didn’t like it it scared him. he would show me his dissaproval of going out by by hiding his head behind the hay holder like I couldnt’ see the rest of his body heheee. yes he did that when he thought I was going to go get him and take him somewhere. after that tho I didn’t take him out much just to visit my friend I walked to her house and he didn’t seem to mind short visits.

love that moustache eh? gosh he was beautiful. he had an umbilical hernea a congenital defect. it did block his pooping once.I rubbed his tum not knowing what it was and put him in his house when I checked on him later a huge pile of poop he was in pain in the end and I couldn’t help him. gosh I miss him he was gorgeous and gentlemanly

ok here is his pictures. a lot of his pictures

                All your angels are beautiful.

I don’t have any pictures of my past angels other than Panda.

My first rabbit Bunbun who went to the bridge was a beautiful sable colored rabbit.

Brando was a sweet chocolate point Californian Mix

Opal was a pretty little rabbit mix

Xena was a gorgeous Harlequin girl

Loved and miss all of my angels too.

Ok. I don’t have an angel bunny, but I do have a angel rattie. This is baby Charrlotte. I had her 5 days when she died after my b-day. Don’t know how, but probably a brain tumor, stroke, or trauma to the spine. She was so sweet! She would cuddle and give kisses and sleep in my hand from day one! She died at the age of 4-6 weeks. I wrote a poem for her and other pets who have crossed over the rainbow bridge, but it is sorta sad so I won’t post it on this forum,  but if you want to read it let me know and I’ll put it on another forum.

Ok photo was to big, but she was a beige hooded with maroon colored eyes. So cute!

Mostly everyone probably knows about little Winnie (she’s still my profile pic and I still miss her everyday; I have never been loved so unconditionally than by that little girl) and her untimely and sudden demise this past Christmas, but this little tiny baby

is actually the bunny that started it all for my mom and I. He was rescued outside the school my mom works at after the nest he had been in had been mowed. When my mom found him he was unconscious, and she brought him home under the assumption that he wouldn’t last the night, but that he should at least have somewhere warm to spend his scant few hours. He managed to make it through the night but a few days later, on Mother’s Day, succumbed to his itty-bittyness despite our best efforts to get KMR and probiotics into him and his previously recovery. Of course, we knew we shouldn’t have taken in a baby cottontail anyway, but the nest was destroyed and the mother wasn’t coming back and we were selfishly hoping we would be able to nurse him back to health and have our own little rescue-bunny.

Since then I’ve learned so very much about these special little animals, and I thank him for coming into our lives, however briefly, to show us just how special bunnies really are. He really meant a lot to both my mom and I even though he was only with us for a few days.
