I have enquired today about volunteering to assist at a local animal shelter … I have previously done some work at this same shelter and I enjoyed it … very hard and dirty work though.

I want to involve my 10 year old daughter, Pearl too … it will be good for her as the athletics program she participates in has just finished and this will keep her occupied during the cooler months.  Not to mention off the computer as well.

Oh I am just looking at my lovely long nails … mmm well no more!

We can help out with the cats or dogs but I will see which area Pearl feels more comfortable in.

        Dawn xx

Excellent idea, I like volunteering at a wild life rescue group because you get to see a lot of different animals, kangaroos, turtles, pelicans and numerous other animals.

volunteering to help animals is great!  i’m wait listed to volunteer at my local shelter, and until they call me i’m just showing up onmy own to pet the bunnies.  i also just got hooked up with rabbitrescue as a volunteer driver for when they need some one to transport rescue buns.  wildlife rescue sounds very interesting too!
