  ARGgg….I too had a wonderful morning this morning…
  
  Ok, a bit of background: We have a four story three level NIC condo…My girls (Kokanee and Kahlua) have the top two stories/levels…Kahlua had her spay on friday so I wanted her not to be running around like a doofus…So I removed the ramp from 1 to 2 and put a peice of coroplast to block the entrance way. I put everything they need on the first floor and made it very ‘recovery room-ish”….Lots of soft bedding, ridiculously clean and disinfected (I’ve been cleaning every day since the spay)….
  
  So I’m not sure what led to what but when I woke up they were both on the top level…and there huge water crock (it’s one of those continous fill 1 1/2 litre deals) was empty-not tipped….So somehow they got some of their bedding in the water, so it did what it does, and continously emptied into the bedding (by wicking action) until it was empty….There entire cage was soaked…
  
  So I’m not sure if somehow that happened, it was wet, so they HAD to escape to the top level, or if they finally decided they were fed up with one story and in their attempts to move the ceiling knocked the dish around!?!?
  
  Either way, huge mess this morning….late for work…”Bunny emergency, I’ll be in soon, sorry!!”” *sigh*

  oh gees! what a little disaster zone you had. gotta love those first thing in the morning… oi. is kahlua able to navigate better or should she still be restricted a bit? seems like they’ll tag team your attempts to block the top level… little stinkers!

  Oh dear it sounds like they really had it in for you, didn’t they? It was real fun medicating my two before work in the am. They HATED the stuff and the vet had no flavorings to add to it either which made it that much worse!

  lol… have you looked into flood insurance for the NIC condo?
