Note: Yes, I know I’m technically holding her wrong in the pics; but it was only for the pics and I’ve held her like that since she was 5 weeks old when carrying her to do important things (like cleaning stuff out of her fur…she was safe and I know the risk

The angora thing has crossed my mind more and more lately, you know? Because she’s 6 months old and hasn’t started her Lionhead shed yet! Yuuki started his shed around 5 months old… but Kibou hasn’t lost any fur. Plus, she has way more hair on her ears than Yuuki did….
She does have a Pedigree with Lionheads all throughout, so I’m quite certain she is a Lionhead, she just…really needs to get her shed on!

Maybe it’s the angle or the fur, but she looks pretty big. How much does she weigh? I’m just asking b/c I took Piccolino to the vet for his first checkup yesterday and he weighed 3.8 lbs. and he’s 7 months. also He’s never gone through a “big shed” he lost the fur on his back little by little but still looks like a dust bunny.
I’ve heard that Lionheads vary so much in appearance, maybe she’ll stay fluffy forever! -

I would recommend a shop-vac for the ensuing flood of fur coming… ^^

I’ve asked my daughter if she can do a quick sketch. When she finishes it I’ll post it here. ^^ It might take her a bit, she’s quite the night owl and she just got up. (It’s about 3 PM here.)
Her bun, Pip, is a half lionhead and I’ve been bugging her to draw her in a number of anime styles, she’s planning on becoming a manga artist/writer. (Erm, my daughter, not the bun!) 0.o
I just wondered because, besides the names, there’s something about that last piccy as a baby that reminds me of Bijou, the little white French hamster in Hamtaro. Looks like she’s doing the ‘kush-kush’ thing.
We like quite a few anime, there is something about how the Japanese draw, especially the cute little animals, that just gets the oxytocin flowing and you just have to go AWWWWW!

I drive my daughter crazy doing the Hamtaro theme song dance next to her in public places. XD
I’m such a bad and embarrassing/humiliating mom sometimes. ^^;EDIT: Oh, here’s her quick chibi sketch of Kibou. She only took about 5 or 10 minutes to do it, and I know she could’ve made it more detailed if she’d had longer, but she’s also juggling some serious schoolwork today. ^^; Anyway, hope it brings a smile.
She added, “Looks like someone set the dryer on FLUFF!” at the bottom of it. XD
