  Hello! I just joined this forum.
  
  My name is Alice and I just got my first house rabbit. He is a 2 month old Flemish Giant without a name. I have done lots of research on house buns over the last few years but now that I have one I’m sure I’ll have more questions!
  
  In addition to “Baby Flemish Giant”, I have a Shih Tzu (Gulliver) who will be turning one this Thursday, a Weimaraner mix named Dash, and a husband named Michael.
  
  While I’m in here…does anyone have any suggestions for names? He’s big and will get bigger, and he is a fawn color. I want something kind of unique and original. TIA

  welcome here! you may have to study him for a bit to see what kind of personality he has. i’m very partial to people names… and in that case your choices are endless. how about Benjamin? or Franklin? or Benjamin Frankin… lol…

  there was someone in the fall i believe who had a 2 month old flemish, but i don’t remember her screenname and she was only here for a short time and then she went MIA… some people come and never leave, others come for a short time and never return. we have some folks who pop in now and then, but are not regular here.

  I put Rabbit Names into Google and got a ton of sites. This one is kinda neat: http://www.pet-rabbit-care-information.com/unique-pet-names.htm
  
  They have the names sorted by category – like Greek or Minerals. Some of the Names from Watership Down are really great: Acorn, Chervil, Orchis, Mallow, Pipkin, Ash . . .
  
  Good Luck, it always takes me a while to name a pet.
  
  I adopted a 2 & 4 year old – So, they already had names: Winston & Kay

  I just got the Howard Huge joke (or am I reading too much into it…. Like Howard Hughes, the TWA guy with that great big sea plane!). I love it! My bf likes to give our pets names of famous people related to the type of animal they are (he’s a little strange). Our rabbits are called Edward and Josephine Hopper (after the 1940’s US painter and his wife). In England we had a potbelly pig called Sir Francis Bacon, he now lives with my mum!
