When I was at the petstore today I finally found the CareFresh/ Healthy Pet apple treats again!  It has been a few years since I have seen these and I was happy thinking they are widely available again.

Well, wouldn’t you know it- I get home and check the company’s webpage- http://www.absorption.com and they are not listed on there at all.  Absorption Corp makes both CareFresh and Healthy Pet and the products are interchangeable by brand.  The treats are 100% dehydrated apple pomace.  The are cubes- kinda like Hay Nibblers- but they are hard and the bunny has the crunch the block to get any off.

Since Cotton has now started eating veggies- Yeah! (She held out for about 1 1/2 weeks before she would try any greens)- I decided to try these with her and they are a bit hit.  Good thing they are not a quick treat to eat- otherwise they would be gone too quick.  She sould not wait for me to get the bag open- and immediately took a few bites off of it.

Has anyone else used these before?  Feedback?

I had bought some 100% apple pellets online when I ordered food- but the dogs stole those off the counter and ate them before I ever had a chance to offer them to the bunny.

I guess I will call the company on Monday and ask if they are sellng these again.  I can’t find them online at any retailers either.
