  Today I Went To The Pet Store To Get Some Food And Litter And Things And I Walked Past A Little Cage Which Looked Like There Was Nothing In It Until I Saw A Little White Head Poking Out. There Was A Sign On The Cage Saying ‘I Am The Easter Bunny Of Pets At Home And I Must Go Quickly I Am Only £20!’ The Pet Store Wanted To Get Rid Of Her Because She Was ‘Too Old’ Even Though She Is 8 Weeks Old. Apparently No-one Wanted To But Her Because Of Her Red/Pink Eyes But I Think My Little Buffy Is Adorable! Now I Just Need To Bond Her With Binky But I Will Leave That Until She Is Settled And Happy Because At The Moment She Is Hiding In A Bunny Igloo. We Let Binky Out Of His ‘Bunny Bungalow’ Before, He ook A Quick Sniff At Buffy And Went To Sit In The Lving Room…

  aawwwww…..poor bunny, how lucky for her you came in the store that day. My Daisy was a left over Easter bunny last year at Petco or Petsmart (senior moment, CRAP) I couldn’t stand the sad little bunny in the corner with the sign “Too Old, Gotta Go! CLEARANCE!” over his head.

  You guys this is awful. It’s gonna be a rough easter if everyone dumps their buns after! I hate that time of year for the poor buns sake.

  thats disgusting those poor buns. too old gotta go gee yes the impulse buys I feel like making copies of the easter bunny purchase from rabbit.org and post it all over the pet store plaza’s. the one where the bun was bought on impulse got all this attention when he got bigger he is sitting in a backyard hutch with no attention whatsoever. so sad.

  When my bunnies were smaller I rang the rabbit society here and I had asked for ideas in finding good homes for my babies when they get a little older, I had said that I will not give them to pet shops and the lady said pet shops will only take them under 8 weeks because they are cute when they are tiny.
  
  I couldn’t believe it because they are not supposed to be weened until they are 8 weeks old, you wonder what problems they would get latter in life.

  awww… glad the sweet lil bun got a good home. i just adopted a red eyed white bun bun this past weekend but she’s a tad bigger than yours… she’s 8 lbs! i think the red / pink eyes are beautiful
