  I really need to stop looking at craigslist. There are so many bunnies on there needing good homes! Plus lots of free ferrets! There is this one bunny that was on there around 3 monthes ago because her owner was moving to a different country. Well the lady that adopted her is trying to sell her again because her other bunny doesn’t get along with Buggs (the bunny). So now she is selling her for only $25 a with her cage and supplies! Also there is the cutest lop eared bunny! My parents have said no more pets for at least 9 monthes (my b-day). And when I end up getting “my” bunny I want to adopt from a shelter. Anyone else out there that needs to stop looking at craigslist?

  for me it was petfinder.org I have the heart but not the health and space for lots of buns. sides mine is so jealous I smell like another bun he bites me. so that helps me stop looking cuz when I look I feel bad and want to help

  Yeah, I’m guilty of looking at craigslist also. There are so many bunnies needing homes, I wish I could adopt every last one! It’s so sad…I saw the cutest bonded pair of lops that needed a home, but I already committed to adopting an older pair. I need to stay off craiglist too, but I can’t help myself. It’s like an addiction!

  I check Kijiji ….I use the time I have to browse on there to message people who are “free to good home’ing their pets..I message them asking that they ask a fee to ensure they go to a good home, and not a bad home or a research company. I’ve seen the changed ads (from ‘free to good home’ to asking a fee); I was thinking that I really need to stop randomly cruising animal sites, as this has led to Kahlua, Rupert and Jimbo and a many volunteer jobs….and although I am happy with all of them I don’t think I have time for anything else!!!

  Oh yeah. Petfinder and Kijiji are also ones I need to stop looking at. Petfinder not as much because some of the adoption fees are so high! Like this one shelter charges $100-125 for one rabbit and $175-200 for a pair! I am not sure why but not many of their rabbits get adopted because of the fee.

  Oh me too. I have never looked at Craigslist but I can’t read anything anymore in the newspapers, tv or magazines that has anyhting to do with animal abuse. Recently there was some big article about the torture sick and lame cows are enduring and I just can’t know about it! It just tears me apart so much. I’m better off NOT knowing. I think all of us animals lovers are alike. That’s another reason we come to sites like this because of all the caring people.

  Ironic thread to find. . . . I just looked at my local craigslist and there is an ad for 3 lionheads. . . . I had to MAKE myself not email the guy. . . . I won’t get any more rabbits for a while and I think when I do, I want to adopt a special needs bunny.
