        Well guys, today’s Day #1 for my healthy eating/weight loss crusade!

        I’m not “obese” by I am about 20 pounds overweight (booooo)…3 years ago I had lost a lot of weight by joining Curves and eating well, got down to 130 at 5’4, but the weight crept back up and now I’m my heaviest ever (and eating ickily to boot)…

        So, since I’d love to get back into my size 5 pants, and feel good about myself, I’m jumping on my diet and weight loss regime that worked for me a few years ago.

        So today I went to join Curves, did my first workout (I’m sore already!!!!) and then went to the grocery store to buy healthy groceries and chuck out my unhealthy ones here at the apartment…!

        I’m going to start calorie counting and going to Curves 4-5x per week… and am aiming at losing 45 pounds to get down to 120 pounds!

        I hope to do this by May 2008…!

        It’s gonna be hard to cut out the unhealthy stuff I’ve made so commonplace, but I know I’ll look, feel and dress so much better

            Want company?

            I have a lot of weight to lose and my new bun, Lola, could lose a few too…lol. I have bunny butt and it ain’t as cute as theirs. The people at the store must wonder how I gained the weight being as all I buy there are the best greens and veggies, but I don’t tell them who they’re for..I give Lola and Daisy several hours a day with the door open, but they are such condo buns I have to shoo them out to exercise.

            I have noticed a difference since I got the rabbits a year ago. I can now get down on the floor for a while and even get back up without help now. (all though it’s a funny sight) so taking care of them is helping get a bit more flexible. Not to mention all the bending and sweeping…lol

              good luck!!!  i need to do the same but i have more to loose than you.  i’ve taken great steps to excercise & to eat healthy but just never at the same time  

              you’ve inspired me.  i have a freshly painted rec room downstairs to work out in and we all know us bunny slaves have the greens on hand!   baby will just have to share more with me.  i’m off to whip up a green smoothie…

                I’m going on vacation in a week so I will probably be eating lots of junk but asap when I get back SUPER DIET time for spring. I as well would like to get back into my size 5’s!!!

                I bought a book called “Skinny Bitch” (sorry for the swear, that’s what it’s called ) and it’s about losing weight by eating natural stuff. I plan on gradually getting into this diet because you have to cut out soooo much from your diet but I’m planning on going vegan anyways. I should also dust off my treadmill I haven’t used in forever.

                Hope your all a bunch of losers too (haha!)

                  hey i have that book!  i love it!!!  it is – if nothing else – a very funny read if you’e not offended by blunt harshness.  lol.   ***warning*** do not read chapter 4 if you are at all sqeamish, and are not planning to become vegitarian / vegan before you put the book down.   a lot of what they say actually fits right in with what my bootcamp trainer talks about & i’m in the middle of transitioning to eating that way right now too!

                    Lion_Lop I’m right there with ya! I just did the same myself only I’m trying out Pilates, Yoga & the elliptical (not at the same time yikes). Maybe we should start a weight loss support group here?

                      I am also in the same place you all are in. I had the same thought that well now that Holly is getting greens, I can share with her. I too have a tred mill. I was planning on starting a half hour walk to day on it, but I didn’t.

                      Yeah, taking care of a bunny is a work out too. I was kind of laughing. I had Holly out this afternoon for a few hours. I had to work, but I worked near her getting lesson plans done. This is the funny part. When I was sitting down concentrating on my stuff, Holly was in a bunny flop. If I’d get up for any reason so would she. Not just once but every time. When I was active, so was she. When I was reading she was lounging. Hmmm

                        Alright count me in too!!! Lets do this together! We could announce every week or so what we lose, and what we find that works/doesn’t work….plus cute bunny pics heheheh!

                        Ruperts doing awesome on his died…OK diet is not the world, I gave him a huge bowl of bunny kibbles but he’s barely touching them he’s sooo into his hay and hay cubes. And he’s loving the freedom to run around. I’m sure he’ll lose his double chin before I lose my gut, but oh well I”ll still be happy for him!
