I’ve heard that most newspapers are now made with soy-based ink.  Then does soy-based ink rub off too?

I tried placing some newspapers on the floor of the buns’ playground.  They had a blast ripping and dragging it.  But their paws are now all black!!

The ink definitely stains their paws!  I have taken several bunnies directly from a shelter where they line the kennels with newspaper, and the light colored bunnies all have grey/black feet.  It takes a while for it to come off.
