I am now feeding  less pellets I dont’ have a 1/8 measure but I have 1/4 and I barely put pellets in it. I am getting timothy pellets friday and will mix it in the container with the alfalfa.

I have more hay for them and I feel bad laith is looking for his pellets and cotton is wondering what is going on here. I took their pellets with junk in it away from them I  only fed a little at nite and they will be getting their greens as usual too.

I hope I can see this thru last time I tried Laith lost weight I felt bad. so I gave in.

It is hard! But you are doing the right thing for your rabbits. You do have to be strong – some rabbits will eat around the timmy pellets but I hope Laith and Cotton won’t be so stubborn about it. You might increase the greens just a tad too for them.

I think you are doing a wonderful job and I know it is so hard, especially when those soulful bunny eyes look at you. It is so hard not to give in, but know that what you are doing is really the best thing for them and you may not see it now, but they will thank you in some small way like a binky, a nudge, a shaking of the head etc.

I was worried about cutting Mimzy’s carrots down to remove more sugar from his diet and increasing the hay-as he just went through a molt. But I was surprised to find that, after a few days of not having carrots, he actually went cold turkey and when I lncluded one for a treat recently, he just kind of looked at it, sniffed and gave me his backside. I was floored! He much preferred the newer greens I had given him and concentrated on rustling those out from the feed bowl.
I still need to drop his pellet amount a bit, but he is adjusting well. He too eats pellets mostly at night, so I just give him his ration then. I am sure your bunnies will come around soon. ^^

Yes, just keep telling them, “This is hurting me more than it does you.” (Geez, I can’t believe I sound just like my dad!) >.<

WOW, Mimzy gave you the bunny butt over the carrot?! That is disapproval at it’s best. Mum you KNOW I am trying to eat healthier, now give me the good stuff!
