I was reading about keeping 75.00 aside for vet bills for the buns in case of emergency. I never thoguth of that  b4. good idea. I am on limited income due to health issues and I need to save up on that. just in case. and I will be taking laith to vet in the fall of 2008 to check his teeth etc. Cotton seems in great health chews a lot etc. his teeth in front look fine. but yes I may need teeth work on Laith. so far his front teeth look great tho. and they are 1 yr old too that is good. I will be getting some of the special food to work their teeth I hope he eats it helps them keep the teeth worn down. little more expensive but worth it for Laith he hardly touches hay either. and his teeth were already checked and were fine so that isnt’ the problem. since Laith doesn’t chew he likes to throw it is so funny to watch him he likes to throw his toys out of his cage/house I get a big laugh from that. and throw the remote control off the couch spot he likes to sit on. lol. and move the towel around too. I put him a towel up there he is so cute.

That is so cute and such a good idea to save even just a little bit, even $10.00 a month for a bunny-fund just in case. $75.00 I have found is about the average for just the vet visit per rabbit, of course it varies by area too. With surgery though it will cost quite a bit, do you think that Laith will need it or just regular trimmings? That can bit a bit expensive as well and I am very glad you are thinking about their future. Too cute you give him a push & shove towel, it’s great exercise for them!
