  G’day Mate! So in honor of Australia Day I looked up some good ‘ol Aussie slang, and here it is – I’m going to clear my throat with some “Adam’s Ale” and try and deliver good “acid”. You may think I have “a few Kangaroos loose in the top paddock” especially since I’ve been “flat out like a lizard drinking” but I am finally finding the time to play catch-up, and since this is my last post for the night, I’m not too “fussed” about sounding like a “galoot”. I’ll keep this short since I have an “ice pole” waiting for me in the fridge, but if I’ve already turned you into an “ears flappen Aussie”, and “your not fed up to the back teeth”, then I must be one “Bobby Dazzlen Dag”.

  It would be much like your Independence Day, we celebrate throughout the day with different things happening and at the end of the night in the main part of town being Perth they have fire works.
  
  My hubby had to work, unfortunatly Australia Day also brings drinking and a lot of trouble.

  Thanks for sharing those pictures. It sure is amazing how we can all come together and communicate so quickly even though we are sooo far apart! So fun to know there is another person on the other side of the planet that is also so close (on my lap top).
