  Heath Ledger, 28 yo actor from A Knight’s Tale, Brokeback Mountain, and the new Batman movie coming out this summer, was found dead in his apartment earlier today… sleeping pills were nearby, but family insists it was not suicide.
  
  He had a 2 yo daughter and split from wife Michelle Williams last year.

  Yes it sure is sad, he comes from my town Perth Western Australia.
  
  He was really quite a very shy man and hated media attention, unfortunatly it comes with the job.

  wow… didn’t know he was an aussie. very sad. i’m sure we’re going to be inundated with speculation about how he died tomorrow when the entertainment circus digs in. i hope his family – especially his poor child – goes into hybernation & avoids all the crap.

  Oh my god can my day GET any more poop. Broke down on the way to work this morning, car needs a new clutch….and now I get to work & find out heathy is no more. He made me go all “funny” inside in a Knight’s Tale, oh my god, such sad news!!!

  i heard this yesterday on my other forum moments after it was announced. so sad. i have only seen him in one movie and it was a lesser known work (i never saw Knights Tale, Brokeback and i probably would not have seen Batman). he wasn’t really on my radar, but it’s very sad that he passed at such a young age. i’m more familiar with his ex-fiance Michelle Williams from her years of Dawson’s Creek fame, and i really feel for her and their young baby girl.
