My bunny babs, has a little cage, but i redecorated. i took out the shavings,  (cuz they were messy) i added a shelf, made it into a fort, and she hasent missed the litterbox since.  (i know it looks small, but i let her run in the back yard for an hour each day. (if shes good, maybe a little longer))

          Hi again….

nice house….I think maybe an hour out a day is not enough, it should be *minimum* four hours.
I can see her sore eye on the last photo, yep she definitely needs checking out!

Yes definitely get her checked out.

Can you not allow your bunny exercise time in your room? keeping her in a cage for so long can cause osteoporosis amongst other things. I know we all probably sound like a bunch of nutters when it comes to how we treat our rabbits but it’s important to educate people the correct way to care for a rabbit. They deserve more than being stuck in a cage.

Maybe you could get a predator safe run for the yard?

Yes, you do do not want her outside with the hawks. One of our forum members recently had a scare with a hawk almost getting her rabbit and he was on a balcony, so she will never let him outside again.

I urge you do consider doing the same and making her a larger enclosure inside. If you look in the bunny section on the top under cool habitats you will see the neat idea condo’s and they are inexpensive to make.

Hi. Your bunny is very cute. I have a stuffed toy that looks exactly like her!!!! My bunnies are also caged but I let them out as much as I can when I am home. I plan on making some neat idea condos in a few months.

Ever think of putting a litterbox under your bed where she goes?
