What time of day are most of your bunnies asleep and awake? Oliver’s previous owner told me that he kept the usual bunny schedule(awake at dusk and dawn) but so far it seems like he sleeps all day and is awake all night. This is a problem because he lives in my bedroom. It is pretty hard to sleep while he is rearranging his cage by throwing everything from the top level to the bottom.

You might find your buns settle into your routine. Brian used to keep us up ALL night, then when we had Bettie, it seemed SHE was the noisy one. Nowadays tho it seems to just pan out throughout both day and night. 🙂

The bunnies in my bedroom have started to adjust to my schedule, but definitely make noise at night. What I’d recommend is getting a fan to place near your head (one of those little standing ones thats a heater/fan is really good) and that will give you some white noise to sleep to. That has taken care of any noise I hear at night! The fan I have is called “comfort zone” and its got a fan and two heater settings, its great because its a cheap one so it makes a really loud fan noise!

Meadow is pretty active during the day between before i wake up until about 12 or so.  she’ll usually sleep until about 6 pm, have dinner, maybe nap a bit more, then she’s up again until about 10 or 11 pm.

I usually feed Cadbury around 8am, and she’s definitely up by then. If I’m much later than 8am, she lets me know she is displeased by chewing something she shouldn’t. After eating and running around for a bit, she pretty much sleeps all day and isn’t ready to play again until about 7pm. She’s a night owl, though, because she’s still raring to go at 11pm!

I’ve been wondering the same thing!  It seems like Edson is up all night because the water is all gone and so is the hay! I give him his pellets at 5:30 am and after he eats he goes to sleep so he must be awake all night!

Me and Cadbury’s bun’s are on the same schedule. When home there up and when I’m at work there a sleep.
