  Hey everyone, today was the day we were suppose to pick up our new addition Kango, but we got a call from the Humane Society saying that there was "complications" and they probably are going to put him down. They said we can try to nurse him back to health but I don’t think I can handle that as our last rabbit only died in early December. Im so sad, I was looking forward to picking him up tonight so badly. They said we can pick another rabbit whenever we feel ready. Kango had such a great persoanlity so it might take awhile to find another bunny that will fit in with us.

  Thanks everyone for your support. We went down to the Humane Society tonight and saw the rabbit they had on hold for us. He is a lop white with brown spots. He’s about 3 years old and very cuddly. The HS person said he was a stray but they find it hard to believe cause he’s very people oriented. He loves to flop down on his side and likes his cheeks rubbed. We decided to go ahead and adopt him. I really hope we get to take this lil guy home. He’s scheduled to come on Jan 22. I’ll post pics when he comes home.

  Sorry to hear it. If the complications were major items, I can completely understand. Heck, one of the reasons I have put off bonding Maryann for so long is that I didn’t want to deal with a depressed bun when one goes over the rainbow bridge.

  Thanks everyone for your support. They really didn’t expand on what was wrong with him. We are going down to the Humane Society tonight. They called us this morning telling us that they just got a rabbit in that they think would be perfect for us, its nice of them to think of us when new bunnies are coming in.
