Lulla’s really good about going in her litterboxes. She has three, all neccisary for the moment. one in her cage, one in a corner she loves to let bombs off in, and one in the bathroom next to the toilet as this is her favorite and poop bombs go off every few minutes.

I’m having trouble with her going in the bathroom litterbox — she goes in it, she just goes everywhere else in the bathroom. i know its a marking thing, but shes been marking the bathroom forever. I also understand this is *sorry* our marking area if you will lol, and perhaps its just competion.

I really don’t mind her litterbox being in the bathroom if she likes to go there, but im really annoyed of little gifts everytime i go in there. She pees some in there too, but thats gotten better since the spay. i’ve even not cleaned the bathroom with white vinegar in hopes she recognizes shes already marked it.

I’m constantly picking up poos and putting them in her box, and wiping up pee and putting that in the box too. Does anyone have any ideas for this war zone that is my bathroom?

does she have to go in the bathroom?  have you tried making it off-limits to her?  maybe it’s just a bit more space than she can handle.

how has she been other than that since her spay…  is she no longer a red-alert terrorist?  lol…

haha lulla the terrorist has died. sometimes. we now have lulla the investigator/lulla code enforcement officer. She has only let a few little poos on the couch, hasnt peed, no marking, only chewed on the carpet 2 times that ive caught her. shes quite pleasant now and im even considering letting her spend the night uncaged in her room she’s been so good. the only problem is the bathroom which really isint that big of a problem. its sort of a new routine when you go in the bathroom you pick up the poos then go, or if you’re nick its "STACY THE RABBIT POOPED IN THE BATHROOM COME GET IT", then he goes. LOL.

We could keep the bathroom off-limits, the only reason why shes allowed in there is because we forget to shut the door. she does just fine in the rest of the house, i just think its a territorial thing in the bathroom.

hmm.  i think, like with children, you’ve just gotta pick your battles.  i can list a bunch of folks on here who’d probably trade you your bunny issues for theirs.  i’m glad that she’s being better for you.  that’s how it was with Meadow… it was almost immediate her change in behavior.

I’m inclined to agree with Beka and would really think about making the bathroom off limits. It sounds like you’ve already been thinking about it, but now need to train the people in the house to close the door
