  Last night I was grooming Vicky and sort of nuzzling the top of her head and then I paused and held my head very still in front of hers (as she and Brambles do to each other sometimes to ask for grooming) and SHE DID! She started licking my hair and the top of my head…it was the sweetest thing I’ve ever experienced. My gf was lucky enough to see the whole thing. I kept making noises as I was struggling not to laugh or exclaim in joy…so hard to stay quiet during that I just wanted to scream! Ahhh wonderful loving little dutch girl

  Instead of using your head, I have found that when you are done petting their nose, if you make a fist and put that down under their head, they also get the message. Almost every bun (except Maryann of course) has groomed me after that – including Dono.

  awww! what an honor Baby was very stingy with grooms for me before but since her surgery she’s been incredibly lovey dovey. there’s a catch tho… she grooms me (my hand or nose) when she wants grooms back. if i don’t catch on she’ll start to nip to as if to say "hey! my turn!!!"
