Well, it’s kind of funny, but my big boy is 9 lbs and he’s 2 months old, but he’s a Flemish Giant so he should ultimately be around 17-20 lbs, the size of a small dog! I wanted a giant bunny, and boy did I get him!! Ha ha…

On a side note, hello to jellyrose82 from a former HB girl! I was born and raised there and moved to the midwest in 98. I love it here, but I do miss my beautiful hometown, Surf City USA!!! Enjoy the sunshine and waves for me…it’s -3 degrees here now with about 2 feet of snow on the ground. On the plus side, it IS festive for the holiday season. Ha ha.

Mine range in weight from 6 pounds to 13 pounds. I’ve rescued a few Netherland Dwarfs that I’ve found homes for and they were around 2.5 to 3.5 pounds – tiny and adorable. I have rescued a Flemish Giant before at a shelter but my largest is Maxine who came from one of our Dallas Shelters – the victim of a family being evicted (along with some dogs). She is a NZ White and the very odd thing about Maxine is that she was already spayed so I suspect somewhere along the lines she came from a rescue before because generally you don’t see these big NZ White’s spayed and neutered and she has some breeder tattoo in her ear and I know they didn’t spay her. My smallest right now are my 3 Dutches but they fit the medium category in size.

Lionheads are generally a dwarf breed from what I understand – at least for now.

My scale may be off, but Kokanee doesn’t quite make two pounds…Kahlua doesn’t move the scale but she is still a baby. When they are fixed in the spring we will have official vet weights to report!!

DJ and Curly Sue are medium sized bunnies, both around 5 pounds.  Deanna is quite little, she is around 2 1/4 pounds.

I haven’t weighed my buns, but they’re huge.. I’ve wondered what exactly they’d weigh.. any guesses? There’s a picture of wabbit in my arms under the "what about you" thread in the lounge.. 12 pounds? 15? We haven’t had them long enough for a vet visit and official weigh-in yet.

Stormy (mini-rex) is about 2.5 (he’s a teeny weeny bunny) and Bindi is about 4 lbs.

Warren’s a massive 3.6 lbs. according to the sheet from the vet tomorrow. I thought he was actually much bigger, but I guess he’s just a little fluffy =)

at Mead’s first vet visit a few weeks after we got her, she was 2.24 lbs.

at her spay, 2 months later, she was 3.54 lbs.

at her nail trim a month after that, she was 3.66 lbs.

according to her breed and sex, she’ll probably be between 4 and 4.5 pounds…

speaking of which… how long do rabbits continue to grow and gain weight?  when are their weights considered "adult"?  Meadow is 9 months now…
