I’m interested in female lop that has recently been added to the shelter where I got Chief from.
I’ve asked for more information on her and am thinking of taking Chief there to meet her.

My (silly) question is, is it possible for rabbits to have breed preferences?

Well I can tell you after being around a shelter I have seen the oddest couples and there really doesn’t seem to be a rhyme or reason, kind of like us silly humans. Each rabbit has their own personality so I think it will just depend upon that.

I don’t think breed preferences – so no. Like Scarlet Rose I’ve seen some pretty odd couples doing rescue work and you just never know who your rabbit is going to click with. Obviously rabbits don’t see each other the way we do – I don’t know how they see each other but it’s certainly not the same as us.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.
