Lion-O got neutered yesterday and everything went very well. I dropped him off at 7:30 (ugh! toooo early!) and picked him up a little after 2pm (after I went home and took a nice long nap). The vet said everything went fabulously and he was a good little bunny the whole time.  He was still a little groggy when I got him home. I opened the door of his pet carrier and he immediately hopped under the bed and stayed there for about 4 hours. I went and checked on him every half hour or so and each time he would just look at me with his bleary little eyes like "Huh?" Then finally around 6:30 he came bouncing out from under the bed and went straight to his litter box and took a nice little bathroom break. Then he proceeded to sniff everything in the apartment to be sure I hadn’t moved anything while he was gone. He discovered that I had vaccumed and the living room rug was in a different position and he gave me a very disapproving look and proceeded to try to tug it over to where he thought it should be. LOL

Today he is very skittish. Every time I would stand up or walk into the room he was in he would start and bunch up ready to run away incase I tried to get him to go in his carrier again. Finally about 2:30 this afternoon he came over and sniffed my feet and started gnawing on my slippers. Seems I’ve been forgiven.

Glad to hear Lion-o is well and has forgiven you. I have to have Shadow neutered and am waiting for a chance to have a day off to stay with him. So it really helps to hear happy endings.

This morning Lion-O woke me and my boyfriend up racing around the apartment and doing binkies in the bedroom. Lol he even tried to binky under the bed and hit his head! He then proceeded to shove his carboard bunny condo out of the way so he could get to the corner where I store all his litter box supplies and he attacked the bag of "Yesterday’s News"! LOL! I sat up in bed and said "What are you doing?" He stood up and peered at me over the carboard condo, with his head cocked to the side as if to say "I’m feeling better and I’m HAPPY!!!!!!!" and then went back to digging at the bag of litter. I just started laughing hysterically. My boyfriend rolled over and grumbled "I guess he’s doing okay, huh?" LOL!!!

glad to hear he’s improving so quickly! you might want to encourage him to take it easy for a few days while he’s recovering though.

Lion-O sounds as if he’s definitely forgiven his mean ma.
