He came out of his box (finally) and started exploring my room again since I had cleaned up a bit. Next thing you know I see him flying across the room!

I wish I had it on camera! I can’t tell you how happy I am! He seems to have really come out of his shell lately. He’s hopping about faster and more freely now, not so cautious of what’s going to be around the next corner. He just hopped under my bed with a big bunch of hay in his mouth (because apparently there’s not enough under there lol, I beg to differ!)

Just wanted to share my happiness! My first binky!

cuppycake, i couldn’t resist adding to your binky thread… i saw my bun’s first binky today since her surgery!!!  it’s a rare sight to see with her period… only a few times have i caught her mid-binky in the last 7yrs!  so imagine my delight when, late afternoon i snuck into her room for a cuddle & she came out from her ‘warren’ to greet me with bunny grunts & binkies

I remember Fred’s first one like it was yesterday. Being unfamiliar with bunnies, I didnt know what he was doing. I heard some noise and peeked into his room. There he was running around, jumping and flicking his feet in mid air. One particularly wild binky shot him right into the closet door. After shaking off some cobwebs he got back up and kept going.

I have brought Maryann into work a couple of times due to either spraying in my apartment or due to scheduling for a vet visit. Of course, first thing was bunnyproofing the area, and I put a large writing board in front of my cube. I also included a poster outside that had a picture of her and said “Warning, Guard Bunny On Premises – do not approach unless armed with a rasin”.

She seemed to have fun exploring the cube, she liked to flop next to the computer as well as climb the stacks of books I have here (no danger of slippage else I wouldn’t have let her). And a few times during the day I’d open up my cube and follow her around as she explored the place. I was quite impressed with her memory. She would hop about 6-8 cubes away from mine, going through all sorts of twists and turns, but the moment something startled her or if I told her she had to go back, she found her way back to my cube.

Wow that’s so cool Markusdark, I wish I could bring my bunnies to work! I miss them when I’m here all day.
