  Los Altos, California, which is between San Francisco and San Jose, and pretty near Stanford University. I actually grew up in New York City, moved here about 15 years ago.

  I live in Campbell, CA – which is about 45 minutes south of SF, but pretty close to San Jose 🙂
  I grew up in Delaware though.

  I lived in San Francisco for 13 years before moving to Alameda (just 15 minutes or so from the city – depending on traffic) It is a little Island thingamajig -not like an island way out there, just separated by a canal. A long while back it was a naval base, but it has really changed from that – but it still is where the Coast Guard is stationed.
