Bella seemed much better this morning.  There does seem to be something to the 48 hr mark Sarita, thanks.  When we got up this am, she had eaten almost a whole bowl of pellets, a WHOLE LOT of hay and drank a 1/2 bottle of water.  She was fiercely throwing her temporary water bowl around her cage.  We could tell she was feeling much better just looking at her.  Thank you Gravehearted and Beka, the after spay care was very helpful.  Thank you!!

I’m glad she’s back to feeling better. I do think that 48 hours is when they are more likely to get back to normal rather than 24 hours – it takes 24 hours for the medications and anaesthesia to really wear off after the surgery so I think 48 hours is a more reasonable amount of time for bunny to get more back to normal.

i’m so happy that she’s feeling better!  i know i was a nervous wreck when Meadow went in… you become so attached to your furry friends that any pain or suffering feels like it’s ripping your heart out…  i’m glad that the rough time is over and things are looking better for your girl…

Yay! You know a bunny is back to normal when they resume their redecorating routines! I’m so glad to hear that she is feeling better
