So I was at Petco buying a cat collar yesterday and I saw this tv playing a demo for a pet desheding product.  I was waiting in line anyways so I was watched it.  It was amazing how much fur this thing got off of animals.  Well I went back to staring at the ladies head in front of me. when out of the corner of my eye I saw "GREAT FOR RABBITS TOO" well that got my attention.  So I went over and picked one up.  I figured what the heck, with as much as connor is shedding it is worth a try.  So I got the cat tool so I could use it for my long haired cat as well.

I tried it out today and let me tell you I am in love.  Connor just loved it.  He always has these huge clumps of fur above his butt because he can not lick it off.  He layed there while I brushed him down.  It is amazing how much fur came off of him.  The bristles are very close together so it gets all the loose hairs.  They are very hard so they will not bend but not sharp or scratchy at all.  I tested it first by brushing the inside of my arm.  I figured it was sensitive there and if it was going to hurt the buns then it would hurt me as well.  Nothing, no pain at all, not even a scratchy feeling.  So then I went to try it on my cat, who has orange, curly, long hair on his belly and he too loved it.  It worked great. Sammy (the cat) has so much belly hair that we didn’t know if he was a boy or a girl until we took him to the vet for the first time.

Well anyways here is the web site if anyone wants to check it out.  I do recommend it.  It is spendy but you won’y have to buy another brush again.   http://www.FURminator.com  they do have a money back guarentee as well.

it was the x-large… i think 4.5 inches.  i was looking at it as a gift for my parent’s dogs… it said the sale price was 50… but regular was 60.  maybe it’s cheaper in stores.

That could be. I know it was normally 29.99 but I got it on sale. The larger they are the more expensive they would be I imagine.

I came across that on another site and it is officially on Thumpers christmas wish list! They are having an internet sale at petco on this.  I think I want it.

Hmm, I may have to try that when the price goes down.  The comb part looks an awful lot like my "Shed Ender" comb but this one looks like it is a bit easier to use. Thanks for sharing your great find!
