        Hi all!

Just wondering what you’ve trained your rabbit to do? Is your bunny litter trained? Can your bunny do any special tricks? Has your bunny trained you ?

If you have trained your rabbit to do anything, can you share with us how you did it?

Here are some links to amazingly trained bunnies on youtube I thought I’d share

Nobody has trained rabbits??? hrm…Well I am trying to train Kokanee to come to me when called. So far, not so good. Cutting back on her treats so that she will be more eager for them;(She thinks she has enough treats as it is and is not going to do nothing to earn them thank you very much hehe)

all of our rabbits are trained… we’re just ignoring you… lol

just kidding!  Meadow will come when called… sometimes.  when she wants to.  i’m going to maybe try and work with her some more after she heals up and the hormones diminish a bit.

Radar is in the process of training me… she’s making me a better human treat dispenser.  If I move something that she doesn’t approve of… she runs to it, runs to where it is supposed to be and either poops where it is supposed to be or stamps her foot while looking at me.  It’s usually when I’m cleaning out her litter box… but also when I move anything that she wants to chew on.

What I really want to train her to do is go on her hind legs on the command "Meerkat!"  All she does now is look at me like I’m the dumb one.

                ^^^Meerkat!  that’s funny!

since MEadow decided that she loves jumping on the couch, she does it all the time.  sometiems i don’t want her on the couch, so i put her back down.  after a couple times of putting her back, she will thump soundly and then jump back up.  that’s her way of saying, "Screw you… i will sit on the couch!"

*laughing* haha…That is a game my boyfriend and Kokanee play…He is laying on the couch and she will run up, stomp and jump on him. He will put her down and she will stomp and jump back up… They can play forever-its quite funny to watch!!
^Thats a great command “meercat!” haha
It does seem like they are better at training us then the other way around hey? I think I am becoming a better bunny slave every day!

Whenever I shake the treat jar, my bunny will come running to me, even climbing on my lap (which she NEVER DOES) and begs for a treat.

                      I’m trying to teach her how to walk on her back feet o_O;;

She knows what kiss is most of the time and will give kisses if I put my face up to her.

LOL! Lily comes most of the time I call her, but other than that he has trained us! LOL! We give him food & treats when he wants, we clean his area the way he likes, and we pet him when he wants to be petted & how he wants to be petted! LOL! I am not interested in training him for show’s or to do tricks, at first I thaught about it, but I am more amuzed by him just doing normal bunny stuff! Binkying, and if we say binky sometimes he does more for us, the bunny 500, that’s hilarious! Stuff like that!

Fern will spin, jump through hoops beg and give me a “high five” (its more like ten). Thistle is in the process of learning these tricks.
Here the one clip for all who have not seen it, it is fairly long though. I guess I got carried away with the taping. It was actually for a psychology project so that is why I explain some things.

Not things I really trained them to do but Stormy will jump up on the couch beside me if I pat the couch loudly. He’s been doing that since he was a wee baby.

Olivia can play the tambourine!!! I really have to get this on video but she doesn’t do it as much as she used to. I got a little bunny-sized tambourine at the dollar store and she picks it up and runs around the room, doing this strange little gazelle hop so it doesn’t hit the ground. She gets a pretty good sound out of that thing. It’s too hilarious.

Well, when I was the dedicated and loved bunny mum, I would just call “come, come” and my little furry friends would come running to me straight away. But after I started the bonding sessions, and Karl thinks I’m a mean, mean person, only Molly comes – and only if she is not busy hanging out with Karl…So, what my bunnies can do? Ignore me! They are pretty good at that now.

But I intend to get them back on my side. One day. They won’t even notice my scheeming work, but one day they will wake up and love me again. I hope

Stormy comes to “come to mama”. I can’t really teach him to do much else, because he doesn’t really like many treats.

Hatter is litterbox trained – which I’m sure most everyone is on here. He will also do “up” which is when he goes up on his hind legs when I say UP. He also understands the word “banana.” He will race around my feet in the morning when I say that word….because of course he knows he’s getting his banana treat.

And of course he has me PERFECTLY trained to be his slave….

Stormy’s not litterbox trained, actually. Which is why he’s not free range.

I only started trick training 2 weeks ago, but she LOVES it..the other day I was tired and got home late and she wasnt having it..she grabbed her treat bag and “mark” off the shelf and tossed em at me lol, she gets about 2-3 training sessions every day, otherwise she wont leave me alone! my previous bunny wasnt like this at all..I tried to train her..she wasnt having it!
