Well so much for the cheap and easy plaything. I put the bun’s veggies in a nice brown paper bag yesterday, thinking they would get stuck in. Bean was nowhere to be found (I think she had tired herself out again sneaking into the cupboard whilst I was cleaning them out), and Brian…well he looked on intrigued and leapt in the cage barging me out the way as he went. He scuffled about with it for a bit, so I left him to it. During the night I heard them chomping on their bits and pieces (i love hearing them munching away, quite calming, in an odd obsessive mother way, and find their different eating habits amusing…although I was a bit concerned 2 nights ago as I heard Brian slurrping on cucumber..well it was his cucumber noises, only i hadn’t given them any cucumber!! I shudder to think!!), anyway….waffle waffle….I woke up this morning, to find they had thrown out the paper bag, fully in tact, tossed it right out of the cage onto the bedroom floor, like a pair of unwanted knickers on a hot and sweaty summer’s night. There was not a single veggie or leaf left…AND NOT A SINGLE POOP ON THE FLOOR!!! not one, they were both in and out of the litter box throughout the night, (HE was snoring, hence why I was aware of the furry darlin’s movements..the rabbits, not the boyfriend…although, thinking about it, shhh!!..! My bare feet hadn’t been that lucky in, well I can hardly remember. I’d repositioned their litter box yesterday and it seems that (despite what men may tell you), a few inches – to the right – really DOES make a difference.
