Last night my husband decided to give Jess & Leo their bedtime craisin (actually we use dried cherries and cranberries and call them craisins)….

Well b/c Leo takes so long to chew, Jess sometimes steals whatever he bites off.  She has been known to try and take bites off of what hangs out of his mouth.  Last night she got her come uppance, when Leo did this to her.  He snatch the craisin right out of her mouth.  She looked at him absolutely stunned!

He then headbutted her out of the way when seconds came out.  She was completely undone.  She jumped out of their bed and went to another level.  I felt bad for her, so I offered her a craisin.  She refused and gave me the bunny butt!  I told my husband that she was sulking.  He tried and she did the same to him….she NEVER treats him like that.  He insisted that she was full.

Well, as most know on this site, Jessica NEVER passes up food.  After she gave him the cotton tail, she started eating a collard green leaf.  He didn’t believe that a bunny could sulk!

Oh my, she was really upset if she gave the bunny butt! Wow, that is a funny story though, she sounds like a Diva, just like my Daff. There is a great site called the “Language of Lagomorphs” I would encourage you to check out, your hubby too!

My guinea pig always steals food out of my bunny’s mouth… good thing the bun doesn’t seem to mind her too much. Plus the bun always knows he’s gonna get more if it gets stolen. He’s a brat.

dried cherries are likely ok – but don’t even feed fresh cherries, since they’re on the toxic plants list. 🙁 i think it mostly relates to the stems and pits, but i avoid them in general to be safe…

Hahaha Juli and Kramer do this to each other alllll day long. They do this especially when the carrots come out. When they get to the end of a carrot piece Kramer will even stoop to trying to eat chewed carrot out of Juli’s mouth!

My husband had NO pets growing up!  I find that really strange, since I always lived w/ a zoo & so do all my sibs.  My hubby’s parents weren’t "pet people".  No really, when his mom visits us, she sits on our kitchen step up stool.  She doesn’t even pet any of our fur babies.  Its odd to me.

Anyway, b/t the 4 cats, 2 bunns, and 2 geckos….the hubby calls 2 of the cats and Jessica the rabbit, "his" pets.  I think its funny b/c I’ve had the cats well b/f we ever met.  Anyway, my story is that all his pets are the biggist diva, stubborn, pig-headed fur beasts!  The cats were normal until they became his cats.  I tease him that he raises "brats"!

Well It think it’s great how he has taken to pets and laughed at the comment about pig-headed fur beasts. That is some influence he has!
