I have no name yet, but people call me stinky

sooo, today my fiancee and I went to the animal shelter on a whim, mostly to just oogle the puppies with no other agenda. When we walked in to the cat room and saw the saddest bunny. No hay or toys just a cat pan filled with clay litter and a yowling and hissing cat in the crate below him. After holding him and getting acquainted I discussed the prospect of three poop machines to feed and clean up after with my guy. Fortunately he agreed to open our home and heart to the little guy. A few forms and adoption fee later the bunny has found his forever home. His previous name was zoink and they gave him up for "personal reasons". One ear is always down and the other can go either way, he has a really thick, persian cat like coat white a tuft thats particually long right between his ears. His skin has no pigment and his eyes are very pale blue. is that considered an albino if the eyes are blue with no hint of pink in them. He had been at the shelter for exactly thirty days today. Its a shelter that does give its residents a… time limit. Considering his ourdeal and previous month with a bunch of whiney felines he has a great personality. We gave him a bath as soon as we got home. He had some fleas and his hiney was pretty gross. My two bunnies (a male neutered mini rex and a recently spayed netherland dwarf) have been relitively nice to him. A little dominance displays but no fights sorry for the lenghty post, any guesses on what breeds lend to his coat and appearence? He probably weighs 3 maybe 4 pounds?

He even binkied when they were all together playing

I made a little video of him on my phone, the quality is choppy at best but you can kinda see the afro thing he has going on. Hopefully that link will work..,,

Don’t know much about the breed, but THANK YOU for taking him out!  They could not even treat for fleas at the shelter?  I assume he isn’t neutered either?

As far as I know, a bunny with blue eyes is not an albino.  Albinos have very pale red/pink eyes.  We have had a couple of bunnies in The Haven who were white with blue eyes, it is a very handsome combination.

He looks a bit like what we call "fuzzy lops", I am not sure if that is a real breed designation or not.  Here is a picture of one:

Hello! Congratulations on your new addition! It is so nice of you to take such a sweet bun home. It is very hard for white bunnies to get homes, he is very lucky that he found you I am not sure what kind of breed that is, but his blue eyes are quite pretty, and he looks like quite a sweet bunny.

Just as a side note – I’d keep an eye on them when they are playing together just to make sure no fights break out as they establish the new hierarchy so that no one accidentally gets injured.

My Coney has the same thing. He has normal long hair that is not fuxxy but around his head it is much softer than the rest and goes everywhere. He is not a lionhead and I have no idea what he is. we got him from a pet store (I know now how bad that was, I didn’t realize about all the buns in shelters, he was out first) and they had no idea either. I personally like the fuz, I play with it and I think he likes it.
