Hey guys and gals I am trying to figure out if the pictures I have on here are any good for keeping Honey out from behind the frig and from the living room till we move everything in the soon to be emtpy room. Have yet to get any cord covering as that is more then we have funds for so we are going to make a no bunny room which will house my baby ball python also(((This is Mel’s BF BTW))). I figure since I will have the snake in same room as many cables good place to be hehe. I am worried about the setup I have now as this rabbit has learned to unwrap tape from the walls and jerk the cardboard to get where she wants. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.(((EDIT:After looking at pictures I fully expect to be made fun of for my cheap  way of trying to reolve this situation so any wise crackS…)))

Just a question, on the doorway, is the box still intact?  It looks like a bunny could just jump up onto the box and go whereever they would want to go.  I’m not going to laugh at your tape job, it looks like something I would do also.    I use babygates for my doorways and they seem to work well.

Hey this is Mel’s BF. I made a profile seeing as I have posted more often then my GF hehe. And to answer your question yes that box is intact. I figure if Honey can hop over it then she deserves to be in other room but I have yet to see her hop higher then my lap. Still a teeny thing. After friday anyways she will have that room open for her to roam.

I bought a baby/pet gate for 20.00 and its the bestest thing ever! LOL
I wish I got it a long time ago…before um some cords got chewed…
as for small gaps, i just went to lowes and bought some bricks, they are cheap
and sturdy and my bun can’t move them! Hope that is somewhat helpful
what you got going will work temporarily but probably won’t hold up in the
              long run.

Ooh, I didn’t think of bricks! Kinda makes me want to run to the store and get some, haha. I’ve been in and out of the kitchen fixing the cardboard most of today. She just pulls the tape right off, and drags the cardboard out of her way.

Well hello again! I don’t see anything wrong with the efforts you have made to keep her safe. The cardboard by the fridge is good but the doorway you may want to mount the cardboard on the opposite side and secure the side she is not supposed to be on with something heavy like a full laundry basket. I would definately keep her away from the snake as I am sure you are aware, they are a predator of rabbits. Quite an interesting combination of pets I must say. Have you looked at garage sales for a baby gate? That might be good to check out or even friends who have grown kids and don’t need the gate anymore. Anyway, just some ideas.

I also use a baby gate. Works for my full-grown rabbit. I get that look from him sometimes, though.
