She was so good too! The vet commented on how well-behaved she is, which made me proud
I originally scheduled her for a spay but was unsure if she was old enough or not, although she had been exhibiting some of the behaviours of sexual maturing. We’re going to wait about another six weeks though so she can put on some more weight to be around 2 pounds. Today she was 561 grams (about 1 lb, 4 oz)! She’s about doubled in size in the past two and a half weeks that I’ve had her
The vet prescribed her Enrofloxacin because she has yeast in her ears and one tympanic membrane is perforated, indicating the infection is in her inner ear. Other than that, she’s in great health, which is better than I expected since I did go against my better judgement and get her from a mall pet store (please forgive me… you can’t fight love!!!).
I feel bad because I had expected to be dropping her off so I didn’t put any type of litter in her travel cage. She pee’d on the way home and now she’s a big wet furry mess
So, that was just our experience today that I thought I would share. And, I still haven’t officially named her yet. But I’m working on it.

I’m glad the first vet visit went well! She is so adorable…..
Its a good idea to make sure bun is plenty strong enough before her surgery, I’m glad to hear she is getting spayed, it will definitely help her lead a happier and healthier life! When I was driving from LA to Texas last week one of my buns peed in his carrier THEN tipped his water dish and was abig furry mess too
just make sure she stays out of the AC until she’s dry so she doesn’t get a cold. When I first adopted one of my fosters he had a lot of pee on him, and its sooo sticky that we actually had to trim a few mats out of his fur, I didn’t really like that because I hate getting anything sharp near my bunnies skin, so I’d recommend trying a little vinegar and water solution to help get it out.
