Get on the scale and mark your weight, then get on the scale holding Cookie and mark your weight. The difference will be his weight.

If your bun is too tiny to be detected on a normal scale maybe get a cheap food scale? I know they sell them here at the dollar store. They’re just cheap plasticy ones but I find they are more sensitive than the scales us humans use.

you can try a postal scale, since they weigh up to 10 pounds.

I used to use a food scale when keeping track of kitten or bunny growth.  I would also recommend the postal scale, since ounces are important when weighing buns.  Sometimes you can find inexpensive baby scales at thrift stores or on craigslist.  I’ve been looking around for a scale since I need to monitor my cats weight…she’s currently about 5 lbs…a bag of flour!

My friend uses a digital food scale to weigh her bunny – she just puts a towel on the scale, notes the weight, puts the bunny on top, and then calculates the difference!

Aren’t you getting him neutered soon? The vet should weigh him there.

Hey Cookie, just FYI: They would have had to record the weight somewhere in their files to administer the correct amount of anesthesia when they did the surgery . So give them a call. I bet they will be able to tell you his weight over the phone.
