When you say on her cheeks does it seem to come from her nose or her eyes or both?  Sometimes it’s as simple as a nasty sneeze due to something that got caught up her nose – like a piece of hay, or something more complicated like teeth issues, or an infection.

Is she sneezing?  If so, how often?   And how long has the wet nose been going on?  Otherwise is she pooping and eating okay?

no sneezing not from the eyes but probably from the mouth…. from licking…..and she is pooing and eating just fine though as well.

If you haven’t changed anything like hay that she may be reacting too, then I recommend making an appointment with the vet.   It’s better to catch an infection early.   Usually they give some Baytril – depending on what they think the problem is.

Do you notice if she’s wet around the mouth too?  If so, it could be a tooth problem.

But again, it’s really hard to say, and since it’s been three days and seems to be getting worse, a vet should check it out.

Have you checked the buns teeth like BinkyBunny said? If there is something irregular with their teeth it will cause some drooling or other wetness. My bunnies had the wet nose but it always came with sneezes. Can you bring your bunny to a vet for a check up?

Sorry i havent been able to get on the forum lately. but good news!!!! i checked the teeth. A OK!!! they are nice and hay smelly =P they look fine to me. but the best part is i found out why her nose and mouth is so wet all the time. i have both a water dish (in which i put ice cold water in for them in the lovely warm weather) and i have the no drip water bottles (with openings too small for me to put in ice cubes) and it so happens that mochi really likes like ice. lol so lately her nose and mouth have been super wet becuase she dips her little face in it to drink. its so cute to watch her. =P emo is a little more proper than mochi so she is always trying to stay clean. =) but no more worries. i am trying to out a way to make ice that would fit into the bottles and so far i was thinking about test tube shaped ice cubes. =P however i have to find the plastic ones first with a holder and is thin enough to fit into the bottle. =) wish me luck!

Hi! I have some sloppy drinkers over here too I have a water crock for Raymond and he dunks his whole mouth in there and is usually dripping littler water drops all over the cage! I have heard that it is good for bunnies to have a water dish to drink out of when it gets warm because they will drink more from the water dish than from the bottles – so I’d recommend keeping the dish in there for the warm months!

xillidobunnyx – Whew! Good to know! That’s something I will keep in logged in my little brain, and will be sure to ask when someone’s bunny has a wet nose, but otherwise seems fine.

MooBunnay- Yes, I’ve also heard that bunnies drink more out of crocks. I always have both crocks and bottles, because the crock can get stuff in it, so just in case it gets dirty or turned over, they have the bottle back-up.
