So  had some good news about Oreo. Ihave had him ow for 1 week. He is using hs litterbox well for peeing but pooping not so much which doesnt both me. I have a wire bottom cage so it falls through. I also have landings for him to rest on so his paws dont get sore.

He is eatting very well and popping up a storm. I am sue he is taking little sips of water here and there I would hae to think as its been a eek I have never seen him use his botle it doesnt go down much either., I just make sure his veggies are really wet.

He seems to lovethe new cage there is lots more room for him to stretch right out. I also had a little stuffed bunny that my son got for easter that he seems to like and will sometimes clean her. (my other rabbit I also gavce one) they seem to enjoy their company hehe

He doesn’t come out of his cage he will sniff the door then just go back to lay down in his cage at the back. He knows i can not get in there but he doesnt mind when I am there cleanin his cage or giving him veggies he hops over then eats then lays back down.

But thanks fr all the advice it really helpedslowly he is coming around and I am very happy about that

glad to hear he’s coming around and getting used to life at your house.
I’d recommend putting some newspaper on top of the wire floor to prevent sore hocks.

I’m so glad he’s doing better!

Have you checked out the links on rabbit litter box training? Putting a layer of hay on top of their litter really helps them learn to use the box, and then, once he is trained, you can put carpet or cardboard down for him to walk all over so he doesn’t get sore hocks from the wire. My bunnies live on carpet now and use a litter box, and I’ve found its even easier to clean then a wire cage, all I have to do is dump the litter box once every other day (and it can go longer between cleanings based on the type of litter you use) and then I vacuum their cage once a week. It really cuts down on the amount of time I spend cleaning up for them!

I have put hay in the litter box and he gets really upset with me and will dig it all out and put it right in front of the litter box hop in the box then eat it he seems very clean like that if something gets dirty like he poos in his food dish or poos on something or he peed on greens he will shove it to the font of the cage lol
