Hedi & Gravehearted – I’m so glad you enjoy the webcams! We’ve been having some tech difficulty, but I think we finally got that fixed this evening.
We’ll actually be adding a third camera to show the bunnyroom. It was getting to be a pain moving the cameras all the time and it would mess up the cameras too. Hey, have you guys spotted my new bunny slippers on the cam? I’ve attached a captured frame from the webcam where Jack is checking them out.
Also, though the bunnies are perfect with their litterboxes in the rest of the house, the poopwars in the bunnyroom were getting way out of hand. Horrible habits were setting in, so I have had to confine them more, and supervise their bunnyroom outings. I basically work in the bunny room so they can have more supervised time out.
Well they have successfull achieved a poopfree bunnyroom zone now (their own pens may still be a battlezone – especially Bailey’s) but the bunnyroom is no longer a dangerous place to walk. I’m not ready to let them go at it yet wiithout supervision, but I say another week, and they will be more free to roam on their own. Then I can show their play round area, outside of their pens, on the webcam
Oh, and Hedi, you don’t have issues. I love watching animals on webcams too. I am amazed at how much time passes! So I am glad that they are helping you during this time. That’s GREAT! I’ll tell the bunnies how much they are helping Hedi, and I bet they’ll come over and give the camera a big hug.
I find great cams from all over the world with dogs, kittens, gorillas, pandas! I love them. And I also find it interesting to watch what my bunnies are doing when I’m not in there. It’s a blast.
Poopy.- we use VisionGS. If that helps any. I know you said it has it’s own server. That’s good otherwise things can really slowdown when a lot of people come on. Ours is on entirely separate system as well for speed and security reasons.
