here is a site that i was talking about under the "behavior" forum.  This is a great site that explains the action of the bunny as well as how to can communicate back with your bunny so it can understand you

What does it mean when a rabbit thomps and then runs into a binky? Bungee did that yesterday when I was thoroughly cleaning her cage (taking it apart, using the vacuum and spraying it down with vingegar solution)
            We were a bit confused…

HAHAHA!   When a Binky directly follows a thump, it could mean he is doesn’t like your actions AT ALL and wants to escape what you are doing!  He could be even saying, C’mon, bring it on!!  Not that he would want to fight but their wild cousins use that Binky move for several reasons.  One being to escape danger, like that of a predator, or they can also do it when they are fighting.

OR he could have thumped, and maybe he scared himself, and he used the binky to escape even if the only thing he needed to escape was his own fear.

Jack used to Binky when he would be caught doing something naughty.   I would shoo him away, and he would do a binky, and I used to think – he loves being naughty.   Which knowing him, I bet that was true, but I also think it was part of his instincts to say …."uh oh, I’m in trouble, I better thwart off danger"  aka: Harmless shooing!
