Rabbits are very fastidious about grooming and should *not* be bathed unless there is a specific health issue. Giving a rabbit a bath is highly stressful for them and entirely unnessasary, since they do such a good job keeping themselves clean.

Remember to rabbits we are huge, it’s going to take time for them to trust you and feel safe. Especially if they were neglected by their previous owner, it’s going to take some time to trust. a good idea can be to just lay on the floor reading a book and ignoring them – since we’re much less threatening on their level.

you can hold the bunny and spot clean the paws with a warm washcloth

Gravehearted’s suggestion was right on.  You will fine that most of the time, the yellow will be stained, and will need to wear off.  If they continiously are very yellow, then there may be some other things you can do that have to do with his cage, litterbox, linens etc.

So are his feet always very yellow?  or was it just something he got into?  And I know it was just a typo  when you wrote buddy, but did you mean Ruddy or  muddy?
