well my mother has a hamster with 2 litters. one with 4 and the other 5. she just wanted a full household and love them all dearly. however, lately my father has been having HORRIBLE allergies and found out that it is because hamster fur is floating everywhere around our house. (we found tons of tinny furs in our two fish tanks) so my dad wants my mother to find new homes for them because we cannot keep all the babies or the hair problem will get worse. ofcourse because she had raised these babies she has grown attached and doesnt want them to go to bad homes where little kiddies will either neglect them or kill them (my mother really spoils the hamsters..... they get food before any one else in the house.... - -" they all have names my mother gave them but i personally dont think they like the names my mother has given them so they would like new names if possible. i am in the process of creating an adoption form so please e-mail me if you are interested. ill have pictures up soon hopefully. they are so sute. they are about the length of a pen cap. =)

thats a shame. they are sooo cute. i havent had a chance to take pictures yet but i promise i will. they are gunna be separated from their mom in about another week. =)

Had you thought about maybe putting an air filter next to the hamsters cage? I got an air filter to help with the rabbit har that was floating around, and even though its not right next to the rabbits it still helps catch the hair! Maybe then you wouldn't have to worry about hamster hair everywhere

heheheh u should see our house we have 2 air filters on either side of the hamsters.... somehow it doesnt work...... but we recently moved the hamsters into the kitchen and as soon as my brother leaves for ucla emo and mochi will go into the room with me. =)

mom is trying to care for them every day so she doesnt have to adopt any of them out. lol

Are hamsters noisy creatures like guinea pigs? One of my pigs is deafening with his squeeking and squarking, especially when you open the fridge door or he hears bags/paper noise.

I am also looking after a friend's guinea pig and I need a pair of ear muffs badly. The both of them togeher do my head in!

hamsters are not that noisy by themself. if there are two they can fight and will make little squeeks. but the major problem is the wheel. =P if you buy the wrong wheel it will be crazy because they are nocturnal.... it will keep u up at night. so u have to get one of those silent ones. but other than that, they are not noisy pets. =)

my HEPA is caked in rabbit fur. i found that for my bf's allergies, the filter helped but definitely doesn't eliminate them

i remember i took a class pet home(was a hamster) and like 3:00 in the the morning I heard the wheel sqeak till 6:30!!!! lol

A trick that a friend of mine that rescues rabbits uses is utting some vegetable oil on the part of the wheel that squeaks - when I was babysitting her hamsters it worked perfectly!

i swear you would love these hamsters. they are too cute but too bad the sisters like to pick on the runt..... =/ ive heard people sending chickens over night but not sure about hamsters. if feel uneasy anyways. too bad i am not going to ireland. if i ever go ill give u a message or something (hopefully i can go sometime within the next 3 years...... i just wanna go to europe gosh darnit!!!!
