do you guys give them a "diggy box" where they can just dig to their heart’s content? If so, what is it made of?

My bunny Flopps has taken to digging at corners of our living room but we have hardwood floors and it just seems so sad! I want to make her a diggy box but am not sure what to put in it or what to make it out of so that it doesn’t make a humongous mess.

Any suggestions or advice would be very appreciated =D!

Someone else was just asking about that!  Can’t remember where, but I suggested shredded paper, (Do you have a shredder?)  Also try crumpling up paper into balls, and an old towel (UNLESS, your bunny takes to actually eating the towel)  You can also put an old phone book in there and open it up, and crumple some of the pages (this seems to help jumpstart some bunnies)

          Anyone else have ideas?

my little diggy box wasnt planned. I had been wondering the same thing on how to make a diggy box. But I had a fiesta shopping basket ( i just found it in my aunt’s apartment..i did not steal it! haha) and i had thrown catalogs and junk mail into it . And my little lionheads found it and started digging around in it. So I just call that their diggy box now and all i do is throw in mail that I dont read.
