Hello again everyone! Here I am to ask another question about my buns.
Diesel’s back feet are pigeon toed? He doesn’t seem to be bothered by it but I was wondering if I should be worried about it? It’s not super bad but when he stands in certain ways I can see it slot. He also keeps his feet together when he tip toes his back end always and I never seen my others do that. Again it doesn’t bother him but I just wanted to know if it’s bad.

Does he show any signs of pain eg. Grinding teeth, lethargic, not eating? If you want to be safe there is always the vet. Does it feel broken? Is your rabbit nipping at you if you touch his foot? Can you show us a picture?

If I get a picture I’ll try. He’s a little camera shy. He seems perfectly fine. He’s kinda been like this since he’s been running around (he’s 5 months old and I’ve had him since he was born) He runs really fast still and he only bites for fun lol. I was considering taking him to the vet but if it’s not necessary I rather save the money for emergencies you know?

Hmm.. I’m not an expert, I have almost no experience with rabbits, I am stumped. I still think taking your rabbit to the vet is best , i found a forum post with a reply with good instructions.

If your rabbit isnt showing any signs of pain, a vet visit wouldnt be needed for anything other than to get a proper diagnosis. It sounds like inverted splay leg to me. Splay leg is where the rabbits legs naturally stick outward. For some, it completely disables their ability to walk. For others, it just makes them walk a little funny My Badger has splay leg and shows no signs of discomfort from it. He runs and walks just fine. His own real downfall from it is balance when standing on his back two feet. Splay leg and pigeon toed like your bun are caused by one of two things: slippery floors, or birth defect
