Hey guys, my bunny ( Ophiuchus) is around 1-month-old ish?  IDK since I adopted him.   so far he’s very sweet but kind of timid which is fine since we only got him for a week. I let him settle in his room for around 4 days ish? ( I only start going in his room and sit there, never tries to pick him up yet ). so far everything was amazing. he would only eat veggies if I hand feed it to him and he would run to me when he heard the door. ( I find that’s very sweet). but earlier today,  I tried to play with him with his willow toy and he start sniffing my finger, lick it, then nibble!. It doesn’t hurt though. So I stand up walk out of his room and close the door ( I hope I’m doing the right thing).  is it normal for younger bun?  or is it a sign of aggression?. he never tries to attack anyone that went into his room. He would run out to see them then sprint and hide.

Someone correct me if im wrong, but i dont think greens/veggies are good for rabbits under 3 months old. Their tummy isnt set up to digest them yet

That said, he likely is nibbling you to see if you are food. Right now, you said he takes food out of your hands, so he could be thinking your hands are part of the food. If its a soft nibble, sometimes those can also be taken as love nibbles, meaning hes thanking you. Instead of walking out of the room, what you should do is make a “yip” sound and turn your back to him. After a few seconds (roughly 30 seconds) turn back around and pet him so he knows everything is ok

Thank you for your advice. So far, his poop are normal which is a good sign right? how do you know if they have an upset digestive system?. I have been feeding him immune booster tablet hopefully that helps. Should I stop giving him fresh veggies? if yes can I feed him fresh grass ( I grow them myself so there are no pesticide or any chemical in them.

Since you arnt totally sure on his age, i think you should take him to a rabbit certified vet to check him over and give you an estimated age for him. And to talk about future neutering and such If his tummy feels normal/not bloated, and his poops are normal, i would continue with his diet as normal. I wouldnt add anything new to his diet until you get an age, just incase
