After eating a ton of thanksgiving food, I sat on my couch recovering in a coma. Flopsie sat next to me and I started stroking her head from the tip of her nose to the base of her head got about 20 min

All of a sudden I noticed a wet nose. Upon inspection her mouth was not wet. Just the top of the nose. I did nose smell and was not thick in consistency. There was no observed sneezing and no discharge.

Should I be concerned? Any thoughts?

I also notice that my bun has a wet nose occasionally. I notice it more often after he’s been grooming himself or the dog, running around a lot or eating. Like your bun, he does not have any sneezing issues or thick discharge. I am absolutely no expert, but from my research on the topic, as long as there are no other symptoms and the wet nose goes away, it was caused by something situational and does not necessarily mean your bun is sick. So if I were you, since nothing else seems to be going on (i.e. appetite and activity level is fine, still pooping and there’s no sneezing or discharge) I wouldn’t worry.

I am interested to hear what others have to say on this topic, though.
