  Uhm so yeah. My rabbits room is my bathroom. My younger sister used my toilet but forgot I put the seat lid back down after. Heard a splash, my female rabbit had jumped in.
  
  I’ve dried her off and shes happy enough. Should I give her a good wash or just leave it to herself?

  I would think she would be ok as long as she’s dry and as long as your sister flushed when she was done.

  Agreed JR… Also as long as you don’t have one of those chemical things that stick on the side or hang in the cistern… A good drying should solve the problem.

  I agree with everyone else. This happened to my bunny before too. We did not have the chemical things inside and we hadn’t just cleaned it with bowl cleaner that day, so was less worried about that kind of stuff, but it did scare me because she could not get out without my help and she was freaking out. And if I wasn’t right there, she could have possibly drowned or panicked so much she could have gone into shock. (bigger bunnies may not have the same danger if they jump in and then can get out — don’t know — just know my scary experience). It’s something that freaked me out so much I kept the door to the bathroom closed all the time. But since they live in your bathroom, it might be a good idea too to put a note on the inside of the lid or somewhere obvious. That way even if someone else uses your toilet, they will know to put it lid down.
  
  That was traumatic enough for my bunny, she actually never tried to jump “on” the toilet again for fear of going in. But each bunny is different.
  
  On another note, for bunnies who live in the bathroom, you do have to watch out for other chemicals — cleaning, hair products, scented sprays etc, where the particles can be irritating for them AND/or fall to the floor and they then can get it on their paws and then on their face/fur when they are cleaning themselves. You may already be full aware of that and are taking precautions, just wanted to note it just in case.
