Hey Kbana – I saw your post early yesterday (sorry), my daughter turned up for a visit (bloody kids interrupting my bunny time!) and by the time she left the computer battery died, so went to bed – but I’m here now! to say – DAM bunny!
I so know what your saying, especially how your feeling, but you still have one up on me – Albert isn’t spraying! If he was, trust me you would dislike him as much as you ‘think’ he doesn’t like you (and I promise you ‘he doesn’t not like you’) he’s just being a teenager as you said. My ‘son’ thought he didn’t like me either till I stopped doing everything for him – he learnt to love me again quick smart! Shame we can’t do this with our bun’s. Henry was never a touchy/cuddly boy, so his neuter was to stop his poor toilet behaviour and I wasn’t expecting anymore out of it than that. But bugga me – admittedly it has been a good 5 months but Henry has become more sociable (what you say?). Yep! and guess what? I picked him up today (your the first to know) – not one scratch! WOO HOO! and he didn’t fight to get out of my arms (I’m still not sure who was more shocked? Him, cause he may have liked it? Or me, cause he actually let me? but I was scared the whole time, lol), so considering how ignorant my Henry has always been – I do believe there is a light at the end of tunnel for you and Albert after the neuter and his hormones settle. It can take months (sorry), but he should get there and that’s what counts. How awesome you are able to access a low cost clinic – my bill was the $300 (worth every cent cause of the spraying – if it wasn’t for the credit card, I would have robbed a bank!) and I just finished paying off his bill last month (yay!). I know March feels forever away, but it isn’t – it’ll be here before you know it. Your not a bad mum, don’t ever think that! Al is just being a ‘bratty bunny’ cause he can’t help it – no one’s fault. And I’m sure giving him medicine didn’t help – yuck!
The weather! Yes your weather has been on our news nearly every night – wow! This is gonna sound stupid, but we in Oz have been enduring heatwaves! It’s not so bad where I live at the moment, but down south is still suffering. I try to imagine your snow but when your wiping the sweat of your face it’s hard too. But when I see the pictures on tv every night I totally get how your over it. (and we Aussie’s pay to come over for the experience, ha ha hah!). We do live in a funny/silly world!
Wishing you a happy healthy ‘loving’ Albert and warm sunshine Kbana. Cheer’s Henry’s mum.
