This was just something I’d been wondering about while watching my two babies together, is the dominant one usually the one who gets groomed by the other? The submissive one i guess you could say?

Well it depends on the relationship dynamics.
But generally the dominant bunny will present him/herself for grooming by the submissive bunny. It’s kinda like saying “you shall groom me now”

My bonded pair both groom each other a LOT and my more dominate boy bunny likes nothing more than grooming his girlfriend’s ears. 🙂 Some bunnies are really into grooming, and i’ve known others that very rarely groom their partner.

SOOOO cute.  Jack and Rucy do this for each other too.   Jack is also a very gentle dominant.

Rucy can be a little grumpy and he puts up with her moods, but if she gets really out of hand, like tries to push him out of the way, he’ll give her a little charge and she backs down right away. (He is double her size)

Most of the time they groom each other and he loves to be with her all the time. He’ll even do binkies when she returns from exploring without him.

                Such a cute greeting!
