        Hi Everyone!
I noticed Mocha tilting his head ONLY when he jumps on my bed. When he jumps off, he looks perfectly normal. Maybe it’s because the bed is uneven compared to the floor? I looked in his ears straight after and there was a scratch and a pimple looking thing.  Other than that, his ears look good. He’s eating the same as he always has and acting normal. Mocha does the occasional head shake and ear scratch. He has no other symptoms of head tilt. (Nystagmus, incoordination, becoming lethargic, etc.) Mocha has been sneezing about 3-5 times in a row almost every day. Is that linked to head tilt? Another thing I would like to add – I haven’t cut Mocha’s nails in about 2-3 months. He hates to have his stomach and feet touched. Every time my dad and I try to get his nails trimmed, he freaks out and finds a place to escape. I know it’s terrible, and I was planning to go get them trimmed at his vet sometime this month (He gets so scared that he stops moving there). But the reason I mentioned this is because maybe his nails scratched up his ear? Is that possible?!

        Thank you everyone.

Yes, long nails can leave scratches in the ears. If he had ear mites, you would most likely see some debris in the ears and he would be scratching/shaking frequently.

Doesn’t really sound like there is anything wrong with his head if it’s only tilted when he jumps on the bed. However, I think the sneezing may need to be investigated by a vet. Since you need to get his nails trimmed, you should get the vet to check him out while he’s there. Could be something like allergies (did you start a new bag of hay recently?) or something that needs treatment like a respiratory infection. Frequent sneezing is not normal for bunnies.

Maybe your vet would show you some tricks to trim his nails. She could also check his ears and put all your worries to rest.
