I’ve built my bunny’s cage out of the 14×14 NIC cubes and I’d like to use sea grass mats to cover the shelves. I really wish the mats came in a size the would correspond nicely with the shelves but since the extra large is wider than I need but not exactly long enough (mat is 19×25, shelves are 14×28) would I be able to cut them to fit and fill in the gaps or if I cut them will they fray and fall apart?? Thank you!

If you cut it up and do not finish the edges, yes, it’ll likely fall apart. If your bun is a chewer, it’ll fall apart quickly anyways.

Thats what I figured, oh well, thank you! I think for now I’m going to cut pieces of cardboard to size while I figure out something a little nicer!
