So here he is.... The beautiful young bun who has stolen Bunnygirls heart..... She is looking for a name.
I suggested Apollo who is the greek god of sun and light. But there are many other names out there so please offer up your ideas.
Personally, I love Apollo |

I think he is about 3-4 weeks right now. He's still with his mum obviously, I go up and handle him and that's how I got the picture! |

With his coloring, I'd go with Artemis, goddess of the moon (in later times), and animals. Artemis can be a boys name too |

How adorable! I love using Greek names for bunnies I like the idea of the moon for her coloring. Selene is another Greek option. Or Luna for the Latin equivalent. She needs a really adorable name. She has an adorable face. |

I believe it's a boy.... But neutral names might be a good idea. It wouldn't be the first time a breeder or a vet for that matter got it wrong. Artemis is good too. It could be Artie for short. |

He's so cute! I dropped Mythology because the professor decided to change the course and not teach us this stuff so I'm pretty bad with the greek gods things. I like all the names suggested. Artemis is cool cuz you could call him "art" for short |

LOL! Boy bunny. Ok then. Apollo is good. Hercules, he's so tiny it's ironic. I like irony. Or Atlas, the god who carried the earth on his back, again with the irony. |

Had a quick look on the net and found this "Apollonia ... Latin feminine form of the Greek male name Apollonios, from Apollo. Mythology ... Apollo was the Greek god of sunlight, music, and poetry ... [10]" in the event of gender confusion "Polly" could also be used as a back up
"Luna" is beautiful too....
I have a Luna but in this case it is short for Luna-tic

Although she is still commonly referred to by her other name "Osama Bin Kitten"

My friend and neighbour spent the first few months referring to her as "That thing possessed". Luna was born at the vets and spent the first 12 weeks of her life in a 1mx1mx1m cage with occasional free runs in the back room of the practice. I went down on the Easter weekend (2007) to a stall my Mothers seniors club had in a local park. She new I had seen Luna and her Mum at the vets and told me that all the others incl Mum Cat had been adopted and Luna was there alone (because she had hurt her foot and had been kept out the back of the surgery) a quick call to the vet to tell them to wait for me and off I went. I walked in the doors and there she is, a young chap was sitting next to her cage talking to her and Luna was hanging upside down from the top of the cage with a newspaper bow toy in her teeth her head spinning like something out of the exorcist. I walked up to the counter and announced I was there to adopt. 20 minutes later Luna was home and running completely amok. On a later trip to the vet when she sprained her leg again stampeding like a mad thing the vet nurses were crowded round giving her cuddles and kisses. I mentioned her nickname OBK and my vet just smirked. The sod knew what I was getting myself into. He knew all along!!!! I love Lunatic regardless and she adores and is adored by my other pets. We have regular Sunday morning chats over coffee in the front courtyard. Luna is quite the conversationalist. |

Aww! That's adorable...but a bit freaky! But the weird ones are always the best! I spoke to the lady again today, my name is going down by my little Apollo, he is officially mine! Yay! I am SOOOOOO excited! Only 4 more weeks till he's old enough to leave mum, and maybe that same amount before he's mine. But it might be 6 weeks till he's mine. But he's a little sweetie and I can't wait! More pics when I get him, promise! P.S Say hello to Luna for me! and Piglet...and all the other animals (Still learning names! Hehe!) |
