Please feel free to post, I live in New Zealand, and I was just wondering where everyone else is binkybunny’ing from
Oooohhh, New Zealand! That’s so exotic to me! I’m in New Brunswick, Canada.
Gosh, really?? I’ve never thought of it that way Wow that is so awesome!!!!!! Whats it like there?? I’ve only been to Australia before
Perth, Western Australia…………… Thanks to the army I have also lived in Tasmania and Victoria, I was born in Sydney NSW Australia.
Wow thats wicked!! I’ve only been through Sydney and the Gold Coast before, but man you guys have amazing beaches- the waves and everything are so awesome
Sunny Scotland here haha. My dad lives in Auckland
Boring Ohio, here.
Illinois, USA.
I’m so glad to see the location line in our avatars is back. It does help to know where, as in state and/or country, our members live. Some advice works well for some locations but is not possible for others.
Just a word of caution: when answering here, or anywhere on the site, do NOT give your local address or last name. We are OK with “the nearest city is Oshkosh Kalamazoo, OH”, but “my town is a tiny one called Wyoming, OH” is a little too close to home. We are an open forum, and we need to protect your identity from those who would find your homes. Have had stalker issues in the past, so don’t post a picture showing your house number or mailbox, or a shipping address label, stuff like that. Sorry to sound paranoid, but it’s part of our security for you. If you think you are neighbors, use the message center to contact privately. Again, use caution there, too. (But authentic bunny lovers are really nice people, so making bunny buddies is fine.)
Michigan, USA! Home of two of the 3 most dangerous cities in the US and high unemployment
Texas, USA…boring lol. Where it’s very very hot haha. I always wanted to go to Australia
edmonton,alberta, CANADA…
flat, boring. hot hot summers cold cold winters.
I’m from California. =) I have a friend in New Zealand, though. She came out here just recently and we went to Disneyland together.
Gosh that is awesome I only just found out about the location line underneath the avatar which was kind of gumpy of me…
RabbitPam: I am so so sorry, I only did mean the country not addresses and everything, so so so sorry I didn’t want to mean to sound like I was trying to get people’s addresses Because I live in New Zealand its cool to know how far everyone is away from here cos its so cool how forums like this can bring people together from anywhere
Currently in Oregon, USA for another week and then moving back to my hometown of Los Angeles! The bunnies will get to be lazy, spoiled Hollywood bunnies haha. Can’t wait, not much to do where I am except things related to my university.
It’s fun to see how far across this globe this forum stretches!
<—- MAsshole here. From a wicked boring lil' town about 45 min from Boston & Fenway Pahk (Park). & yea, it's true… we do say things like – "Cah (Car), gahbidge (garbage), grinda (sub) & packie. (Liquor store)."
…from faraway a place where it’s forbidden to end sentences with prepositions. sentence fragments are allowed, although highly discouraged…
Born in Hawaii, raised in Washington state. Not to be mistaken for Washington DC..
I really want to visit New Zealand one day. The country is beautiful from the photos that I have seen. I also have a pen pal from Auckland.
I’m from London, UK but I’m at Winchester studying at uni =)
I’d love to live in New Zealand it looks absolutely beautiful there!
Near Bristol, England.
Beccaberry I have a friend studying at Winchester!
South Australia here.
Sarahjean, I’m 100% positive RabbitPam was not chastising
or directing her warning at you specifically. It was just a general reminder to all to play safe.
Welcome here : )
Jersey is absolutely right – apology NOT necessary!
I thought it was an opportunity to let the members know our concerns about safety, but I love knowing where people are from. It actually makes it easier to talk about things like where to find good hay, etc. So I apologize to you if I hurt your feelings regarding this post. I really enjoy saying I have friends in Australia, New Zealand, California, Alaska, …
I am from South Florida for the past decade, but I was born in MA. And everything Hunny said is true. Hunny, you sound quite normal to me. If I hadn’t said what I did about not naming places, I could probably guess the wiked boring town. I used to live 45 min. out of Boston, aka, off the Mass Pike or 128. It’s all little towns strung togetha. (I miss the Topsfield Faya.)
Northern British Columbia, Canada here
and no I don’t live in an igloo
Just moved to Ohio this year. I was born and raised in Mississippi though.
Northern New South Wales, Australia here. Born and raised in the same area and although I have travelled I like it here, weather is pretty good all year around, about 6 hours from both Sydney and Brisbane (although I don’t go to the cities that much). Boring place really but I’m use to it
I live in the Portland Oregon area
Originally from the Vancouver BC area though
I live just outside Washington, DC in Northern Virginia. I think it’s so neat that there are members from all over the world here! I have always dreamed of going to Australia and NZ. Someday I’ll get there…
WOW We have members from all over
I suffer Edmonton’s weather alongside Brit & Yeti
I don’t think Edmontonians have neat accents or words not found elsewhere, but our catch phrase is likely ‘going inside it’s 40 below out/ or going inside I’m getting eaten alive by the mosquito’s’
Wow, I feel like the forum gets a little more international every time a thread like this comes up. I love it!
Born in Taiwan, but moved to the States as a toddler…I’ve lived most of my life in Texas where it is very hot right now haha.
Ooooo RabbitPam!! I did not have my feelings hurt!! So please do not be worried I just really wanted to clear up the air and tell you that I was sorry just in case there was any confusion
I love hearing where everyone is from though And as you say, I like saying that I know and am friends with so many people from around the world!!
winnipeg manitoba canada
cold and boring
Kokaneeandkahlua, I have to agree about what you said about Edmonton. I was there for a few weeks almost 5 years ago (long story but failed working holiday and so called best friend turned against me) the place was lovely even when it was 20 below. Didn’t get to see spring or summer.
I’ve never been outside North America. My dream is to go to England and Scotland.
LOL ok, to start, I was born in McLoud Oklahoma USA. but, I have lived in Germany, Italy, And Iraq. I have been to Amsterdam, France, England, Scottland, Egypt, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Syria(by accident). I would still ove to visit Austrailia!!!! and go back to visit Scottland, It was beautiful there.
Scotland is amazing, my dad is from Glasgow. The only other places I have been is Germany, South of France, Morroco and New York (which I absolutely loved, everyone was so friendly and my dream is to work and live there for a while).
I’m from Northern California but moved to Florida in the middle of my high school years to take advantage of their college program. (The state will pay for a fraction of your college costs if you keep good grades.) I really don’t like Florida and hope to move somewhere up north.
Bumble Fly I work with a guy who is from Mississippi! He has this really strong southern drawl and comes to work telling up about he cooks really Southern. Which is completely fascinating to me because I love food. =]
Binky91 what are of New York did you visit? I went to the NYC and was overwhelmed by the craziness of it (and I grew up in the city!).
I’m from Wisconsin, USA. A lot of people make fun of Wisconsin for being a “hick” state but I promise it’s not! The Madison area (where I’m from) is the opposite of the stereotype.
That’s so cool that you’re from NZ! I’m part Maori! I’ve never been but my grandpa has a bunch of times and he’s planning on taking me. Beautiful country.
Amy, if you were in disneyland in late August, I probably saw you! lol. I was born in Cali but moved to Tx when I was 2. I went on my first out of state trip when I was 19, went to Arizona for a week with my 2 friends (who are sisters) and they went to see their family. It’s dry heat up there but we mostly just kept hopping from one relative’s house to another. So I didn’t get to sight see a whole lot.
Peppy, the heat in Tx has been killing me! My bf has no AC in his car and it’s about a 30 min drive home from work in his car…torture! lol.
It was hot in Cali too when I went, apparently it’s the worst they’ve had all year. I was just glad we weren’t sweating
I live in the Hudson Valley region, about 75min north of NYC. I really love it here. I’ve only lived in my town for a year, but I’ve been in the general area for 6 years (most in western Connecticut). It’s a great combination of rural (we have lots of farms and dairies nearby), suburban, and city (with NYC so close). There are a lot of pretty little towns and wineries too.
I would absolutely love to visit NZ! It looks so beautiful. I’m also very jealous of those from the UK and I’ve always wanted to live there.
When I lived in Edmonton for about 14 years, we used to say it had 2 seasons… Winter and Construction. lol
Orlando, Florida! Never been to Disney world, don’t really care to go. Universal and sea world are ok in my book!
It rains every day at the same time. You can be standing on one side of the road while it rains across the street. Weather is crazy here. Anything lower than 70* f warrants a heavy sweatshirt.
Originally from South Carolina/ Pennsylvania. Both have their perks and draw backs. I’d love to live in Maryland, I think it would be a fantastic compromise.
I live in the far south of norway
I am from Michigan, U.S.A.
I am from southern California, USA.
This is near-ish where I live, one of the local beaches
Zoologist – that weather sounds so funny!
Here in tx, it can be cold one day during winter & then the very next day, it’s just as hot as it is in summer. Last year we had…sort of snow. It was very light snow & was freezing outside but the very next morning, it was pretty warm outside & the snow melted really fast. Fun while it lasted
That’s a beautiful beach sarahjean!
What beautiful scenery!!!
Binky91 — where in NY did you visit??!? Because everyone I know says NY’ers are the RUDEST people they have ever met. Hahahaha, I’m from NY and I also have to agree with them. When I moved to Pittsburgh, PA (USA) a year ago everyone seemed awkwardly nice… and they still do to me. Sometimes I WANT them to be grumpy, just so it feels like home!
Would love to see some scenery pics of where you live!!! Thought I’d share some from where I live. (I didn’t take any of these pics)
Make sure any pics are general pics only. No street names, etc.
This is one of our tourist attractions. At low tide, you can walk on the ocean floor. There’s lots of whales around this area.
My favorite time of year! Our trees will all look like this soon.
Snowshoe hare. Love when I get to see these little buggers.
Moose. One of nature’s weird looking animals. This is a park where I go hiking and snowshoeing.
Manhattan! Really ?? Compared to the British they’re super friendly! Didn’t encounter one rude person!
MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSE! *love moose* *wants a moose*
Binky91: really? When I was in England I thought they were like the nicest people EVER.
The scenery is so pretty. I have…corn.
I’m from outside of Philadelphia, a littld bit north of the city
Maybe it’s that they’re nice to tourists, rude to locals?
Puffy, love the autumn pic. Do you call it Fall? One of my favourite times
also.
I see 2 bunnies in your 1st picture! Can anyone else? Big rock bunnies :p
Hey JG, You mean the two bunnies trying to reach the salad on the big rock ?
View over the back fence
and what they do there. Which is instruct children about the early pioneers and farmers.
and some of the lake over the back fence and across the road.
By Graham Green
and one from the Southern end
So beautiful I’m from Portugal and unfortunately I never went to America but I loved Oslo !
FooFoo: I lived in Philadelphia for two years while I was at Penn. I miss the city.
Hahah maybe, maybe I was just lucky!

Hey JG, You mean the two bunnies trying to reach the salad on the big rock ?
Yes! Glad it’s not just me that can see them.
I remember dressing up just like those kids in primary school.
Welcome Wendy-Japan : ). We actually had another member from Portugal posting a while back.
Must be about a year ago now though.
I see the 2 bunnies in the pic! Hehe
I would love to see scenery like that! It’s gorgeous
